The Milwaukee Bucks have multiple free agency decisions to figure out during the offseason.

With Bobby Portis holding a player option and expected to opt out of it, there could be a scenario where the Bucks lose their fan favorite.

Portis has revived his career in Milwaukee, helping them in multiple ways off the bench. As a potential starter next year with Brook Lopez potentially leaving, it's possible that Portis could be looking for a bigger deal in Milwaukee and opt out of his contract to earn one.

However, he also has to do what he believes is best for himself. If the Bucks don't give him the money he's looking for if he opts out, another team around the league should be willing to give him something he wants.

According to Jake Fischer, that team could be the Golden State Warriors. Fischer reported that the Warriors are interested in Portis, and have been in recent years.

"Golden State has always been a team to monitor for Portis, who has a notable fan in head coach Steve Kerr from their shared days during the 2023 FIBA World Cup competition with USA Basketball," Fischer reported.

"Team executives expect Portis to have numerous potential landing spots in the midlevel market as well, although Milwaukee would like to bring back the 30-year-old forward," he added.

The Warriors would be an intriguing landing spot for Portis, who has shown that he can shoot the three-point shot at an above-average clip.

He's coming off a campaign where he shot 36.5% from 3-point range after shooting 40.7% from deep in the 2023-24 season.

Portis is a double-double machine, averaging 8.4 rebounds last season.

When he starts, he's nearly guaranteed to finish with at least 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Portis has some issues on the defensive side of the basketball, but outside of that, he's a very good player.
