The Milwaukee Bucks could soon add a key piece for next season.
Over the past few weeks, all of the noise in Milwaukee has revolved around Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future with the franchise. Of course, the two-time MVP has been at the forefront of trade rumors in recent years, with the Bucks failing to win a series since 2022.
Each time it seems as if the Bucks might have to face a trade request from their star, they have made a big move. With Jrue Holiday joining the team in 2020 and Damian Lillard joining in 2023, the Bucks have always had a trick up their sleeve.
This offseason, that trick might be adding a former NBA champion. According to a report from ClutchPoints’ Brett Siegel, the Bucks are interested in adding Andrew Wiggins.
Wiggins was the centerpiece of the package Miami received in the Jimmy Butler trade at the deadline in February. However, his future in Miami has always been uncertain since his arrival.
Considering that Wiggins has shown his ability to be a key player on a championship team, he could be a perfect fit next to Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee. While there are uncertainties inside and in the backcourt, Wiggins at least would be a much better forward partner than Kyle Kuzma.

Wiggins is heading into the final two years of his four-year, $109 million deal. After averaging 18 points, 4.5 rebounds and a steal per game last season, Wiggins could be worth the risk for the Bucks.
