In a perfect world, the Golden State Warriors would get a decent return for Jonathan Kuminga if they decide to trade him. The Warriors are in a strange spot where they aren't willing to give Kuminga the money he's looking for, but also aren't exactly in a favorable spot on the trade market.
Teams understand that he's a decent player, but perhaps nothing more than that at this young stage of his career.
Golden State will have to hope that a team gets desperate, and there could be a few teams around the NBA that do just that, including the Utah Jazz.
The Jazz are looking to improve, but are still likely a few years away from being anything of relevance. Kuminga could help with that, and Thomas Carelli of Sports Illustrated believes that's the case.

He recently proposed a trade idea that would see the Jazz move on from multiple first-round picks for Kuminga.

“The Warriors do not want to trade their future piece. Why would they? In just 24 minutes per game, Kuminga has averaged over 15 PPG in the past two seasons. He is a very productive big man for the Warriors team and so long Steph Curry is present, the Warriors are capable of winning an NBA title,” he wrote.
“Being a restricted free agent, teams have free reign to try and get Kuminga, They will have to reach for him with an above-market offer and if they trade him, they will have to release more than market assets. If any team does have the assets to do so, it is the Utah Jazz.”
As he touched on, Kuminga has played well in his short minutes, but considering Steve Kerr hasn't given much of a chance to the youngster in big moments, it's tough to say what type of player he is at the stage of his career.
The Jazz likely understand that, so moving on from two first-round picks from him seems very unlikely.
