The Denver Nuggets’ offseason can't go unnoticed.

There's a strong argument to be made that the Nuggets put themselves in a great position to not only compete in the Western Conference but win it all next season.

The Nuggets were still among the top teams in the NBA entering the offseason, as evidenced by their performance last year, which included a Game 7 loss to the eventual champion Oklahoma City Thunder. Factor that in with the addition of Cam Johnson and others, and the Nuggets should be on their way to another championship if everything goes as well as it can.

Beyond that, the expectation around the NBA is for Denver to continue to add to its roster over the next few months. Whether that be during the trade deadline, buyout market, or many other ways, the Nuggets will improve. ClutchPoints recently proposed the idea of them trading for an intriguing name in the form of Kevin Love, a veteran who is 36 years old.

“But Love is 36, and while he can help guide Utah’s young frontcourt players, he has little long-term overlap with the team’s timeline. For the Jazz, Love is both a short-term floor-spacer and a trade asset with postseason credibility.

“Teams like the Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets, or Philadelphia 76ers could see him as the final frontcourt piece for a title push. His salary, while not tiny, is movable, and Utah could package him with another player to return a higher draft pick or intriguing prospect,” Rohan Brahmbhatt wrote.

It's very unlikely that Love would play much for the Nuggets, barring anything drastic going wrong. However, there are many worse players they could target on the market if that happens.

Considering the Nuggets likely wouldn't have to move on for much, or anything, he'd be a decent fit.
