Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets always wants to show love to his friends back in Serbia. For some of the top basketball players in Serbia, Jokic has continued to give them shoutouts and thank them for their contributions to his career.

Recently, Serbian basketball star Milos Teodosic announced his retirement.

Jokic sent him a heartfelt message over a video, saying that he's going to go down as a legend and thanked him for everything.

"Captain, you're going down in legend," Jokic said (translated to English). "Unfortunately, your career has to end, but it's certainly a career that all of us who play basketball are envious of and want to achieve. As a fan, thank you for all the medals. As a teammate, thank you for the time spent together on and off the court. It was an honor and a pleasure to share the court with you. Enjoy your retirement, Master!"

Jokic is a great person both on and off the court, which is why many Nuggets fans and others love him.

For Teodosic, he spent only two seasons in the NBA, appearing in 60 games during that time with the Los Angeles Clippers.

He averaged 8.0 points per game in those 60 games, but eventually found his way back to Serbia after those two years.
