England vs. Jamaica lineups, team news, score prediction: Lionesses prepare for Women's Euros with King Power Stadium friendly image

England conclude their Women's Euros preparation with a friendly against Jamaica at Leicester City's King Power Stadium on Sunday.

Defeat to Spain in the UEFA Nations League on June 3 was a bitter pill to swallow and cast further doubt over the prospects of a successful title defence for Sarina Wiegman and her players. They will be eager to assuage those concerns before they travel to Switzerland.

Jamaica come into this friendly off the back of three straight defeats to CONCACAF rivals Mexico and the United States. They lost those three games by a combined score of 11-0 and did not manage a shot on target against the USWNT last time out.

The Reggae Girlz are also missing a handful of big names for this fixture — their first against the Lionesses in their history. The last time England lost when playing another national side for the first time was when they were beaten 2-0 by Germany way back in 1984.

It seems likely that Wiegman will name pretty much the same side that started the Nations League loss to Spain at the beginning of the month. However, should Lauren James prove herself match fit, she may well come in for Jess Park at No. 10.

Hannah Hampton looks like being the first-choice keeper for the start of the tournament, but it remains a position that could be up for grabs if she does not seize the opportunity. One of Khiara Keating and Anna Moorhouse should get an appearance on Sunday, probably for the second half.

England predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Hampton (GK) — Bronze, Williamson, Greenwood, Charles — Stanway, Walsh — Mead, James, Hemp — Russo

England vs. Jamaica score prediction

England will be determined to sign off for the Euros with a good result, and given the key personnel the visitors are missing, the Lionesses should be expected to do just that.

Predicted score: England 2-0 Jamaica
