England begin their UEFA Women's European Championship trophy defence on July 5 when they face France in Zurich.
Sarina Wiegman has endured a difficult build-up to the tournament, with injury problems, player retirements and Millie Bright's withdrawal from consideration for the squad all needing to be navigated.
Veteran goalkeeper Mary Earps' decision to end her international career came as a shock and means the Lionesses will need a new No. 1 for the tournament in Switzerland. Fran Kirby also called time on her England days after being informed she would not be in the final 23-player group, while Bright said she was neither physically nor mentally ready to be involved.
Combined with a run of two defeats in three games, most recently in the UEFA Nations League to world champions Spain, this has been a tricky period for Wiegman. It also means her choices for the final squad for the Euros are going to come under even greater scrutiny than before.

Lauren James, Michelle Agyemang included
There was doubt as to whether Lauren James would be fit enough to be named in the final squad, but the Chelsea star has indeed been included despite playing just nine matches in the Women's Super League this past season.
The creativity she brings could be pivotal to England's attacking approach.
Michelle Agyemang was the biggest surprise. The teenager only made her senior international debut in the UEFA Nations League loss to Belgium on April 8, although she made quite the impression, scoring just 41 seconds after coming off the bench in the 80th minute.
She spent last season on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion from Arsenal, playing 22 times in all competitions and scoring five goals.
Senior stars in despite injury concerns
Wiegman included Bayern Munich midfielder Georgia Stanway and Manchester City pair Alex Greenwood and Lauren Hemp, despite all three players having had serious knee injuries over the past year.
Greenwood and Hemp returned from surgery during the latter part of the WSL season, while Stanway has only recently regained full fitness.
Given they have 233 Lionesses caps between them, their availability is a huge boost for Wiegman given the absence of other senior players such as Earps, Kirby and Bright.
