Manchester United have had a crisis with their attacking unit for a while now. The club has tried to bring in young, fresh faces to sharpen the attack, but none of those players have proved to be successful.
United have been linked with multiple forwards this summer, and the club has reportedly come to a decision on their forwards ahead of the second transfer window opening.
What has Ruben Amorim decided to do with his forwards?
Reports from Corriere dello Sport have stated that United are moving on from Rasmus Højlund but will keep Joshua Zirkzee.
Højlund is receiving a lot of interest from Inter Milan, who are looking to add to an already explosive attack of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram. Højlund has previously played in Serie A, scoring 10 goals in a single season with Atalanta.
Højlund started his United career off well, securing 15 goals and two assists in all competitions in his first season. His second Premier League season only saw four goals to his name, but he had a nice Europa League campaign with six goals.

Amorim is looking for more results from his attack, and Højlund has failed to establish any sort of consistency.
Zirkzee looked to be far more productive when he was healthy. The Dutchman started to string together some better performances, but an untimely injury sent him back to the sidelines.
The forward didn't register great numbers, with only six goals and two assists in all competitions. He did, however, look to be a threat and brought a different level of energy to the pitch.
Both forwards are young and have plenty of time to develop their games, but Zirkzee appears to be the man that Amorim favors ahead of his first full season as manager.
