Portugal U21 vs. Netherlands U21 football betting tips, predictions, preview & odds for 2025 Euro U21 quarter-final image

Portugal and the Netherlands clash in a very enticing Under 21 European Championship quarter-final on Saturday.

Rui Jorge's side impressively topped their group ahead of France on goal difference, having scored nine without reply across three games. Geovany Quenda got three of those, as well as two assists, and the soon-to-be Chelsea player is one of the true standouts in the tournament.

Conversely, the Dutch lost to Denmark and drew with Finland, and only progressed with a final group game win over Ukraine. Michael Reiziger's side did qualify for Slovakia with a 100% record though, so they cannot be underestimated.

Portugal vs. Netherlands prediction, tips, bet builder and odds for Euro U21 quarter-final

Portugal to win and Both Teams To Score: 31/10 (BetVictor)

The Portuguese might have kept three clean sheets in the group stages, but knockout football is a different story, and the Dutch will come to play.  However, given their form and firepower, we're tipping Jorge's side to make the semi-final in what could be the game of the weekend.

Geovany Quenda to score at any time: 7/2 (Skybet)

If Portugal are to progress, Quenda is almost certain to be at the heart of things. His five goal contributions are the most in the tournament, and they came in just two games, so expect another goal or assist here.

He's on the way to Chelsea next summer, and this is very likely to be his final hurrah with the underage teams before the 18-year-old makes the step up to the senior side.
