In Eliminator, MI comfortably beat GT by 20 runs, thanks to Rohit Sharma's innings up top and Jasprit Bumrah's death bowling. With this, GT were eliminated from the final race.

The Qualifier 2 saw PBKS take on MI on Sunday. Riding on captain Shreyas Iyer's brilliant knock, Punjab chased MI's 200-plus target to reach the final only the second time in the franchise's history.
