In the Indian Premier League 2025 season, Rajat Patidar helped the Royal Challengers Bengaluru to end their elusive quest for the title after 18 years.
Virat Kohli, the highest run scorer of IPL history, was someone who did everything humanly possible to win the trophy as RCB's skipper and came close twice but failed to achieve it.

However, when Patidar finally got them through, it was his moment to brag about it in front of the media and fans but the skipper, fittingly, took a back seat and let Kohli enjoy the moment for everything he had done for the franchise.
As the final ended, Patidar did something special for Kohli that would melt your heart. Check out what happened below.
Patidar's heart-warming gesture for Kohli after the IPL final
Traditionally, after a title win across sports, the captains of the winning teams are seen signing the broadcast camera lens, like even Shreyas Iyer did in 2024.

However, when RCB won the trophy in 2025, and it was the 32-year-old Patidar's turn to do so on June 3, he called upon the former skipper, Kohli, to sign the lens on the team's behalf and the gesture was thoroughly appreciated by the fans on social media.
