The final between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Punjab Kings will be played on June 3 at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, where fans will witness a new champion being crowned.

The match is expected to be a cutthroat battle between the teams who were only separated on the virtue of the net run rate at the end of the league phase, after finishing level on points with the same number of wins, losses and no results.

What happens if the RCB vs PBKS IPL Final ends in a tie?

If the match between the Royal Challengers and the Kings ends in a tie after both teams have batted, the match will go into a super over, which will be the tie-breaker between the teams.

Previously, a double-super over took place between the Mumbai Indians and PBKS during the 2020 league phase that was eventually won by PBKS.
