Fans react: Did Shubman Gill ignore Hardik Pandya at toss?

It is not clear if there is any tension between the former GT and current India teammates. However, fans took notice of the apparent snub by Gill.

Previously, there have been rumours of rifts between the duo after Gill was named as the Indian ODI team's vice-captain over Hardik, ahead of the Champions Trophy earlier this year.

It could also simply be a case of the two skippers mistiming their gesture for a handshake.

Whatever the case, both captains will hope to guide their teams to a win and through to Qualifier 2, where the winner will face the Punjab Kings.
