And that's a wrap on this thrilling contest! Gujarat Titans bow out with pride while Mumbai Indians live to fight another day. Just two matches left in this season of the IPL. Stay tuned as the best is yet to come! See you!

End of match: Mumbai Indians won by 20 runs

Gujarat Titans have been knocked out as Mumbai Indians held their nerve to secure a spot in Qualifier 2 against Punjab Kings. GT’s chase stayed alive thanks to a classy batting by Sai Sudharsan. He was in sublime touch yet again.

Washington Sundar and Sudharsan kept GT in the hunt with timely boundaries, but the turning point came when Jasprit Bumrah returned. With MI under pressure due to the dew, Bumrah produced a trademark yorker that bowled Sundar.

Ashwani Kumar and MI's support bowlers kept things tight at the death, closing out a high-pressure game with precision. GT finish at 208/6, falling short despite a valiant effort. It's MI who move ahead, with eyes now set on PBKS in the next knockout clash.

End of the 10 overs: Gujarat Titans 106/2

Gujarat Titans added 40 runs in the last four overs to reach 106/2 at the halfway mark. The big setback came with the bizarre dismissal of Kusal Mendis, who was unfortunately hit-wicket off Santer after a promising start.

However, Sai Sudharsan has looked composed and confident at the crease, anchoring the innings beautifully with a fluent 67 off 36 balls. Washington Sundar has played a  supporting role, keeping the scoreboard ticking with timely singles and the occasional boundary.

GT would be fairly pleased with their position at the halfway stage and will now look to accelerate in the back 10 with wickets in hand.

End of the powerplay: Gujarat Titans 66/1

GT endured a shaky start to their innings and lost Shubman Gill early to Trent Boult, who trapped him LBW in the very first over. However, Sai Sudharsan and Kusal Mendis counterattacked swiftly and shifted the momentum.

Sai smashed a six off Boult, while Mendis followed with two maximums in the same over and push the pressure back on MI.

By the end of the powerplay, GT had recovered well to reach 66/1 in 6 overs, with Sai Sudharsan (43* off 25) and Mendis (20* off 9) building a strong partnership. A solid recovery phase for GT, though MI might feel they’re slightly ahead.

End of the innings: Mumbai Indians 228/5

The five-time champions march on towards the second qualifier after a stellar first innings as they post 228 runs in the first innings.

Sharma missed out on his century after his phenomenal 81(50) came to an end as he skied a Prasidh Krishna slower one towards Rashid Khan on midwicket.

Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya chipped in with 25(11) and 22*(9) respectively to get them to a comfortable total.

Sai Kishore was the pick of the bowlers for Shubman Gill with 2/42 in his 4 overs. Prasidh took 2 wickets as well, however, ended up conceding 53 runs.

End of 10 overs: Mumbai Indians 113/1

Former MI skipper, Rohit Sharma, has held the fort from one end as he crosses his fifty ahead of the halfway stage.

Sharma is unbeaten on 56*(31) while he lost his opening partner, Bairstow, at 47(22) on a Sai Kishore delivery.

Sai Kishore, the only wicket-taker has conceded 33 runs in 3 overs so far.

End of the powerplay: Mumbai Indians 79/0

Jonny Bairstow has returned to the Indian Premier League in some style as he comes in and adds 44*(17) in the powerplay.

Rohit Sharma is currently playing the second fiddle in the first six overs with 33*(19) to his name.

The Titans wouldn't be happy with their fielding as both the batter have been dropped so far in the innings — costing them quite a lot of runs.

7:00 pm: Mumbai Indians have won the toss and they will bat first.

5:00 pm: The toss is scheduled at 7:00 PM IST.
