Players with the most sixes in International Cricket

Chris Gayle: Not surprisingly, Caribbean powerhouse Christopher Henry Gayle tops the list. The West Indies legend has hit 553 sixes across all formats, in 483 international matches. Gayle has hit 98 sixes in Tests, 331 in ODIs, and 124 in T20Is.  

Rohit Sharma: Among active players, Rohit has hit the most sixes in international cricket. The 35-year-old has 529 sixes in 442 matches. He will most certainly surpass Gayle as the leading six-hitter in international cricket. Sharma has hit over 3000 career runs in sixes alone. Rohit is also the batsman to hit the most sixes in winning causes - 401.  

Shahid Afridi: Former Pakistani captain and all-rounder Shahid Afridi is third on the list. In 524 matches, he hit 476 hits over the boundary for his country. Due to his power play, the Pakistan player was fondly called "Boom-Boom Afridi". He hit 52 sixes in a 27 Tests. He was more proficient in limited overs cricket, hammering 351 sixes in ODIs and 73 in T20s.
