After pulling out of their league stage clash against the arch-rivals in the ongoing World Championship of Legends 2025, the India legends have once again refused to play against Pakistan in their semi-final clash.
The Indian team qualified for the last-four stage after beating West Indies comfortably in their final league game on Tuesday. With their first victory of the tournament, the Yuvraj Singh-led side finished fourth on the table.

Pakistan, on the other hand, finished second on the league table, tied on points with leaders South Africa. As per the schedule of the competition, the first and third-place teams will lock horns in the semis, while the second-placed side will meet the fourth team.
The stage was set for an exciting clash between the rival nations, however, the icons of Indian cricket have pulled out of the clash due to the ongoing cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan.
India legends to pull out of WCL 2025 semi-final against Pakistan
A source close to Sports Tak revealed: "Indian players have refused to play against Pakistan in the WCL semifinal scheduled for Thursday."
Earlier, EasyMyTrip co-founder Nishant Pitti had said: "We applaud Team India @India_Champions for their outstanding performance in the World Championship of Legends, you've made the nation proud. However, the upcoming semi-final against Pakistan is not just another game. Terror and cricket cannot go hand in hand. @EaseMyTrip, we stand with India.
"We cannot support any event that attempts to normalise relations with a country that promotes terrorism. The people of India have spoken and we hear them. EaseMyTrip will not be associated with the India vs Pakistan match in WCL. Some things are bigger than sport. Nation first business later, always."

Will Pakistan qualify for WCL 2025 final?
The organisers have confirmed that as India legends pulled out of the match, Pakistan have been declared the winners and will qualify for the final.
