How did Liverpool vs Bournemouth unfold?

The match itself was filled with drama and raw emotions. Liverpool won 4-2 with the help of goals from Hugo Ekitike, Cody Gakpo, Federico Chiesa and Mohamed Salah.

Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo scored two goals to bring the visitors level but late strikes from Liverpool sealed it for them.

The night was also about remembering Diogo Jota, who tragically lost his life in July.

For Liverpool supporters, this opener was not just a football match. It was a collective farewell and celebration of a player they loved.

What next for Washington Sundar?

Washington Sundar will wait to see if he gets picked in the Indian squad for the Asia Cup 2025, which will be announced on August 19
