Pant's batting in Leeds was nothing short of sensational. In the first innings, he scored 134 off 178 balls with 12 boundaries and 6 sixes.

He followed that up with 118 off 140 deliveries in the second innings with 15 fours and 3 sixes. With that, the 27-year-old became the first Indian wicketkeeper and only the second in Test history to score centuries in both innings of a match.

With nine sixes in a single Test - Pant also broke the record for most sixes by a visiting batter in England. He surpassed the mark of six sixes by Sri Lanka's Duleep Mendis in 1984.

This latest feat is yet another reminder of Pant's rare ability to combine flair with impact - especially in overseas conditions. As India push for a win in the series opener, their vice-captain has already etched his name into the history books.
