Jasprit Bumrah to play more than 3 IND vs ENG Tests? India pacer hints at 'feeling fresh' in England image

Months after Jasprit Bumrah injured his back during the Sydney Test against Australia where he did not bowl in the 2nd innings, he returned to Test action and took off from where he had left.

In the first innings of the England series, the spearhead of the Indian bowling grabbed a five-wicket haul while conceding only 83 runs to help India hold onto a marginal lead of 6 runs that saw England get bowled out for 465 runs.

Due to the persisting back issues, the bowler was initially recommended to only play three Test matches in the series against England to manage his workload.

However, Indian fans could feel a bit of relief after the 31-year-old hinted feeling physically well moments after his fifer at Headingley. See what he had to say.

Will Bumrah play more than 3 Tests vs England?

Following the end of Day 3's action, the speedster spoke to the BBC and revealed feeling fresh due to the cold weather in England. This weather could also help the pacer's body to recover well and might assist him in playing more than 3 Tests.

"It feels good. It is a little bit colder here than in India. I am feeling fresh and good, so hopefully good things will follow," Bumrah stated.

He also went on to speak about the dropped catches from the Indian fielders, giving his teammates some benefit of the doubt and thought they would improve with the mistakes.

While his availability beyond the three advised matches remains unknown for the time being, his body feeling good would give Indians some reason to believe in a slight possibility of maybe getting another match from him.
