However, India's star pacer Jasprit Bumrah's availability remains doubtful. Here are three reasons why he might not play the fifth Test.
However, former Indian cricketer and broadcaster Navjot Singh Sidhu believes India shouldn't be dependent on Bumrah and backs India to win even without their lead pacer.
What did Navjot Singh Sidhu say about Jasprit Bumrah?
Bumrah was declared to be available for only three out of the five Tests in India's ongoing tour to England. The decision was made to manage Bumrah's workload, as he is coming off a back injury and has faced a lot of trouble because of his back throughout his career.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Sidhu said:
"I don't think Team India is dependent on anyone. I used to think Bumrah was indispensable, but if you look at when India won at Edgbaston, Bumrah wasn't there."
"When India won at Gabba, two debutants, Shubman Gill and Mohammad Siraj, alongside Rishabh Pant, both played their roles...So, when the passion awakens...I believe the Indian team is no longer dependent on anyone," he added.
Will Jasprit Bumrah play the fifth Test vs England?
India won the first-ever Test at Edgbaston in Bumrah's absence. Akash Deep led the Indian pace attack in that game, picking up 10 wickets in the game, and was accompanied really well by senior pacer Mohammad Siraj.
Sidhu, however, feels that Bumrah should play the final Test and wants him to take Rishabh Pant as an inspiration. The Indian wicketkeeper has been ruled out of the fifth Test battled through his foot injury to bat in the first innings of the fourth Test.
"I believe Bumrah should play, he should take inspiration from people such as Rishabh Pant...he is a very big example. I agree we should preserve Bumrah, but in the last game, he bowled in just one innings...and on the last day he did not bowl, so he has nearly gotten 5-6 days of rest...and here series is on the line, so I think Bumrah should play."

Bumrah bowled 33 overs in the first innings at Manchester, and despite playing just three games so far, he has bowled 120 overs in the series. He is also India's leading wicket-taker in the series (14 wickets at an average of 26) so far, with two fifers, which again is a testament to his brilliance.
According to reports, the Indian management has made the difficult decision to rest Bumrah. The medical team advised the fast bowler to rest for the final game to protect his back from another injury while considering the long-term impact it could have on his body.
