It's heating up in London ahead of the series-deciding fifth Test between India and England at The Oval, which starts on Thursday, July 31.

The fourth Test of the series in Manchester ended on a controversial note as England captain Ben Stokes and his colleague were seen having a verbal altercation with Ravindra Jadeja over ending the Test before the scheduled time and calling it a draw.

Now, ahead of the final match of the series, as the Indian cricket team stepped into The Oval ground for their first practice session, the head coach got into a heated discussion with the ground staff, Lee Fortis.

After the incident, Fortis did not divulge any information on the conversation; however, India batting coach Shitanshu Kotak broke his silence on the controversy as he claimed that Fortis had earlier rudely behaved with some of the members of Gambhir's coaching staff.

A latest footage from the ground has gone viral on social media, where Gambhir is visibly furious as he launched an X-rated rant against Fortis.

Here are the excerpts from the fiery conversation:

Fortis: "Don't swear it again, don't swear again or I'll report you to the match referee."

Gambhir: "Go report, go do whatever you want to do. Go F**k O** now!"

Fortis was then spotted speaking to Kotak.

Gambhir tells Kotak: "Tell this a**, tell him to f**k o**. Report it to the match referee. Don't f***ing get into a discussion with him."

Gambhir: You stop it. Don't tell us what we need to do. You don't tell us what we need to do. You don't tell us what we need to do."

Gambhir: Okay, don't tell any of us what we need to do. You don't tell us. You don't have any right to tell us. You don't have any right to tell us what we need to do, ok? You are just a groundsman, so just stay in your capacity. You are just a groundsman, nothing beyond that, just a groundsman."

Gambhir: "You are just a groundsman. Just a groundsman, stay in your capacity."

What next for England and India?

The two teams have only three days to recover and prepare for the fifth Test, where the outcome of the series will be decided. Day 1 of the fifth Test starts on Thursday, July 31.
