Three-time Indian Premier League winners Kolkata Knight Riders have formally parted ways with head coach Chandrakant Pandit, the franchise confirmed on Tuesday.
Pandit joined the franchise in 2022 after Brendon McCullum left the head coach's role to take over as England boss. After failing to reach the IPL playoffs in the first editions under Pandit's tutelage, the team finally won the title in 2024 as Shreyas Iyer led the team to glory.
