The Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 finished as one of the most exciting Test series in recent memory. India under new captain Shubman Gill came back from behind to level the series 2-2 against Ben Stokes' England.

Top scorers from both teams, Shubman Gill (754 runs) and Joe Root (537 runs), broke multiple batting records, while Mohammed Siraj and Josh Tongue topped the wicket charts for India and Englnd with 23 and 19 wickets respectively.

Pitch ratings for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 venues

1st Test at Headingley: Pitch- Very Good; Outfield Very Good

The hosts took an early lead in the series with backs against the wall after five hundreds from the Indian batters, including twin-centuries for Rishabh Pant and a five-fer for Jasprit Bumrah.

England chased down 371 runs on the final day of play, courtesy of 149 from Ben Duckett and fifties from Zak Crawley and Joe Root in 4th innings.

2nd Test at Edgbaston: Pitch- Satisfactory; Outfield- Very Good

Twin centuries for captain Shubman Gill, including a 269 and five-fers for Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj helped India bounce back into the series.

Hundreds from Jamie Smith and Harry Brook tried to get England back in the match, which eventually was not enough.

3rd Test at the Lord's: Pitch- Satisfactory; Outfield- Very Good

Ben Stokes' all-round effort got England the lead in the series after Joe Root's hundred and fifties from Jamie Smith and Brydon Carse rescued a collapse.

KL Rahul scored his second century of the series, Ravindra Jadeja showed his might with the bat in both innings, but dramatically fell short by 22 runs.

4th Test at Old Trafford: Pitch- Satisfactory; Outfield- Very Good

A herculean effort with the bat from Rahul and centuries from Gill, Jadeja and Sundar helped India secure a draw after England took a 311-run lead.

Stokes took a five-fer and got a century alongside a 150 for Root, which wasn't enough to get a victory.

5th Test at the Oval: Pitch- Awaited; Outfield- Very Good

9 wickets for Siraj guided India to a famous win by 6 runs, after a low-scoring first innings total of 224 runs.

Karun Nair added a crucial 57, followed by Yashasvi Jaiswal's 118, and fifties from Akash Deep, Jadeja, and Sundar to draw the series.
