The Asia Cup 2025 is around the corner as India are all set to announce their squad for the T20 competition that will be held in UAE next month.
The selection committee, along with head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Suryakumar Yadav, will meet in Mumbai on Tuesday, where they will announce the full India squad for the Asia Cup.
India's T20 skipper Yadav had undergone hernia surgery in June and his fitness was in question ahead of the competition, however, the Mumbai Indians star cleared his fitness Test last week and has been declared fully fit to lead the Men in Blue in UAE next month.

Yadav, or SKY as he is popularly known, has a vast experience in the shortest format and is widely considered as one of the best middle-order batters in T20 across the world.
His record in international cricket as well as in the Indian Premier League is commendable. With the Asia Cup approach, SKY will hope to lead India to glory and win his first-ever major trophy as the captain of the national team.

Varun Chakravarthy praises Suryakumar Yadav ahead of Asia Cup squad announcement
India international spinner and KKR star Varun Chakravarthy has now spoken highly of SKY's leadership as he labelled the MI star a bowler's delight.
Speaking to Revsportz, Chakravarthy said: "Surya is someone very similar to Rohit. He is very tactically sound & maybe his time at MI has given him good exposure to great captains. He never puts pressure on the bowlers. It would be a bowler's delight to have a captain like him."
