On Friday, reports emerged that Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fast bowler Anshul Kamboj has joined the Indian squad as a replacement for injured Arshdeep Singh for the remainder of the Test series against England.
Kamboj was flown to Manchester to link up with the rest of the squad and he attended Saturday's training session under head coach Gautam Gambhir.
Now, the Times of India reports that the CSK star could earn his maiden India cap in the fourth Test after injuries to two ace pacers Arshdeep Singh and Akash Deep.

Kamboj was among the four pace bowlers - Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna - who attended full training and it is believed that he could make his Test debut at Manchester.
India are also without the services of Nitish Kumar Reddy, who has also been sidelined with an injury. With all the injury blows, the Indian team now face an uphill task ahead of the must-win game at Old Trafford.

In his 24-match FC career, Kamboj has represented Haryana and India A and has scalped 79 wickets at an impressive average of 22.88 while scoring 486 runs with a fifty to his name.
In the recent Ranji Trophy season, he also took all 10 wickets in an innings against Kerala in the first innings, ending with figures of 10/49.
