Andre Russell stepped onto the field for the West Indies one final time at Sabina Park as the hosts faced Australia in the 2nd T20I of the five-match series.
With the series on the line, the hosts found themselves in a spot of bother after being asked to bat first on July 22.
The legendary all-rounder, who had announced the 2nd T20I at his home to be his last match ahead of the series, walked in to bat at number 7 with the team struggling at 98/5 in 13.5 overs.

In his vintage style, Russell aggressively attacked the Aussie bowling attack and scored a brisk 15-ball 36 to help them reach 172 at the end of the innings.
Three of the four sixes in his innings came against Ben Dwarshuis in the 14th over, hitting one straight down the ground, followed by a top-edge that flew over the wicketkeeper and one over the mid-wicket boundary.

He scored 1034 ODI runs in 56 matches at a strike rate of 130, along with 70 wickets, while he scalped one wicket in his solitary Test in 2010.
Before getting dismissed in his final T20I, he put the West Indies in a respectable position of 139/6 in 16.5 overs. The Aussies congratulated him, and he received a standing ovation at his home.
