After India's heartbreaking loss at the Home of Cricket, Lord's, the Anderson-Tendulkar trophy now moves on to the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester for the 4th Test of the series.
Post their loss in Edgbaston, the hosts England came back in some fashion to clinch a 22-run victory in the thrilling third Test at Lord's, which went to the very last session of Day 5. The win also provided England with a 2-1 lead in the series.

India, on the other hand, dominated major parts of the Lord's Test; however, the side succumbed to pressure while chasing in the fourth innings. With the series on the line, India has a tough challenge ahead of them as they play in Manchester, a venue where they have never won a Test.

India’s playing XI in IND vs ENG 4th Test at Manchester
India have made three changes to the playing XI: Anshul Kamboj, Sai Sudharsan and Shardul Thakur have come IN with Karun Nair, Akash Deep and Nitish Reddy going OUT.
Sudharsan returns to the No. 3 spot in Manchester.

Rishabh Pant injured his finger while wicketkeeping during the Lord's Test but he has been listed as the keeper for this Test.
Additionally, the all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, who contributed with both bat and ball at Lord's damaged his ligament and sits out. Shardul Thakur has replaced him in the XI.
Kuldeep Yadav has to wait for yet another game with conditions suiting the pace bowlers. Kamboj has therefore made his debut.
