New York Giants rookie QB Jaxson Dart probably wishes he could have his first 11-on-11 pass of training camp back.

Here's why:

Yep, that's what would otherwise be a pick-6 in an actual game.

Not great.

Not surprising, either.

Rookie quarterbacks experience a steep learning curve once they reach the NFL, and Dart, the Giants' first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, is no exception.

Perhaps it's now more understandable why coach Brian Daboll shut the door on any quarterback competition on Wednesday morning.

Dart's time as a starter will come; there's no doubt about that. And it'll likely arrive a lot sooner than many predict.  When it does, he won't be throwing pick-sixes like this. At least, not on his first pass.
