Dak Prescott turned 32 on Tuesday as he heads into his 10th season with the Dallas Cowboys. The veteran quarterback is preparing for what many are calling a pivotal year in Dallas.

The Cowboys’ official X account celebrated his birthday Tuesday morning with a short message:

Prescott's career in Dallas has been....

Prescott’s career in Dallas has been a mix of strong individual performances and playoff frustration. He won Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2016 and led the NFL in passing yards in 2023. He’s also been selected to the Pro Bowl three times. But despite the regular season success, Prescott has only two playoff wins since taking over as the Cowboys’ starter.

The Cowboys are used to having a target on their backs, but this season feels especially high stakes. With no long-term extension yet in place for Prescott and expectations soaring, every snap will be under the microscope.

As fans reflect on Prescott’s career and what’s ahead, there’s a clear sense of urgency. This season could define his legacy in Dallas.

The Cowboys will kick off the 2025 season on the road against the Eagles on Thursday, September 4.
