The Denver Broncos and wide receiver Courtland Sutton have agreed to a four-year, $92 million contract extension that runs through 2029. The deal includes $41 million in guaranteed money.
Sutton’s new deal keeps Denver’s top target through 2029
Sutton led the team last season with 81 catches for 1,081 yards and eight touchdowns. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix leaned on him in key moments, especially on third down, where Sutton was the league’s most productive receiver with 452 yards and no drops.
He had been heading into the final year of his previous deal and skipped voluntary workouts last year while pushing for an extension. This new contract ensures he stays in Denver as the offense evolves around Nix and new weapons like tight end Evan Engram and rookie wideout Pat Bryant.

Sutton remains the clear No. 1 option in the passing game and is one of the most respected voices in the locker room. Coach Sean Payton praised his leadership and toughness, calling him a consistent force for the team.
The Broncos expect Sutton to stay at the center of the offense as they build around their young quarterback and aim to climb the AFC ladder.
