The Australian Boomers have one foot in the quarter-finals at the FIBA Asia Cup.
After a 36-point win over Korea in their opener, followed by a 13-point win over Lebanon, the Boomers sit at the top of Group A, ahead of their group stage finale against Qatar.
Victory over Qatar will seal top spot in the group for the Aussies and earn them automatic qualification for the quarter-finals.
The youthful Boomers squad has been led by Jaylin Galloway (15.0 ppg), Jack McVeigh (15 ppg), and sharpshooter Reyne Smith (12.5 ppg).
Adam Caporn's troops have led with their defense and ball movement through two games, averaging 21 assists on 34 made field goals, while connecting on 40 percent of their 3-pointers.
