The second game of the 2025 State of Origin series has arrived.

After a commanding win in the opener, New South Wales are looking to clinch the series against Queensland in Perth.

It was a relatively defensive affair in Sydney, so will conditions impact how Game II pans out?

The Sporting News provides the latest weather forecast for the clash at Optus Stadium.

State of Origin forecast: Weather report, rain for Game II in Perth

Up to 35 mm of rainfall is forecast in Perth on Wednesday.

The bulk of this rain is likely to fall in the morning, although sprinkles in the evening cannot be ruled out.

Optus Stadium is known for its typically hard and fast track, so players may have to adapt to soggier conditions.

The temperature, meanwhile, will sit around 18c at kickoff.
