The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have issued a firm warning to fans following a disturbing incident involving a dangerous social media trend at 4 Pines Park.

The club is urging supporter to avoid participating in the viral "Run It Straight" challenge after a group of spectators were seen tackling each other with full force following their Round 13 victory over the Brisbane Broncos.

The reckless behaviour occurred on the hill at the stadium immediately after full-time, while the majority of fans were celebrating the Sea Eagles' emphatic win.

The trend, which has gained momentum on platforms like TikTok, involves individuals running at each other for high-impact body collisions.

Tragically, the warning comes just days after a teenager in New Zealand died as a result of injuries sustained during the same challenge.

Sea Eagles CEO Tony Mestrov has condemned the actions and promised stricter security measures at future games.

"It's crazy that people will do this type of thing when they know how dangerous and potentially life-threatening it is," Mestrov said.

"We will ensure our security is more vigilant in patrolling the outside zone after full time at all future home games," the Manly CEO said.

"Any spectators who breach our rule by engaging in this type of behaviour will be banned. Full stop," he said in a statement.

The club reaffirmed its commitment to making match days at 4 Pines Park safe and enjoyable for everyone.
