Former Dolphins centre has earned prestigious selection in Japanese Rugby Union this season.
Valynce Te Whare who played for the Shizuoka Blue Revs has been officially named in the NTT Japan Rugby League Best XV for the competition's end of season awards.
The powerhouse winger was a standout performer for the Shizuoka Blue Revs, showcasing his trademark blend of strength, footwork, and finishing ability throughout the season.
His dominant displays on the wing played a key role in Shizuoka's competitiveness in Japan's top-flight domestic competition, ultimately earning him a spot in the league's prestigious Best XV.

It's the first time Te Whare has received the honour since making the switch to Japanese rugby, a testament to his rapid adjustment and consistent impact.
In response to receiving the award, Te Whare shared hiss appreciation.
"I'm truly honoured to be selected in the Best XV of League One," he said.
"I'd like to thank the coaches and staff who supported me throughout the season. I'm already looking forward to seeing how far I can go, both individually and as a team, next season," the winger said.
