The Rabbitohs are set to extend two of their most popular players.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Cody Walker and Alex Johnston will ink respective one-year deals.
Both players are off-contract at the end of the season, but are now on track to remain in Redfern through to 2026.
Walker, 35, was reportedly in talks about a "potential two-year deal", but recent injury troubles mean South Sydney have instead offered a single-year extension.

The veteran playmaker is currently sidelined with a groin injury, which he sustained after returning to the field from a previous calf strain.
Johnston, 30, has also had injury struggles of his own this season, missing a handful of matches with rib and hamstring issues.
The winger is notably just 11 tries away from passing Ken Irvine as the NRL's all-time leading tryscorer.
Johnston tested the market and was even offered to rivals the Roosters, per SMH.
However, he decided he did not want to play for another club.
