NRL Judiciary Round 12: Henry, Mulitalo and Starling banned

The first of the Origin-impacted rounds is in the books for 2025, with the depth of a host of teams being tested.

Tom Starling suspended

Three Raiders have been charged by the judiciary, with Tom Starling the most significant as he has been hit with a one-game ban. 

Corey Horsburgh and Joseph Tapine will pay fines for incidents in their win over the Warriors, but it's Starling who will have a week off, following a Dangerous Contact - Grade 2 charges against Chanel Harris-Tavita.

But New Zealand did not escape unscathed, with Jacob Laban also charged for Dangerous Contact against Horsburgh. 

Henry, Mulitalo banned

Panthers prop Liam Henry was charged following an ugly crusher tackle on Fletcher Sharpe on Saturday.

He will miss two games with an early guilty plea, with his charge adding insult to injury for Penrith, who were dominated in Bathurst without their Origin stars.

ORIGIN GAME 1 TEAMS: Queensland | New South Wales

In the later game, Sharks winger Ronaldo Mulitalo was sin-binned for a late shot on Mark Nawaqanitawase.

After entering an early guilty plea, he will miss just one week of action.
