The Melbourne Storm have won their past ten games at AAMI Park—maintaining the club’s status as one of the toughest road trips in the NRL.
Craig Bellamy’s outfit hasn’t lost at home since falling 16-18 to the Dragons in Round 22 last season.
In the following ten matches they’ve laid on a staggering 417 home points while conceding just 126 and are short odds to make it 11 straight in Saturday night’s Round 20 clash with the visiting Manly Sea Eagles.
But as impressive as the Storm’s current home record is, it’s still a long way off the all-time NRL benchmark.

The biggest home game winning streak in the NRL era is held by, you guessed it, the all-conquering Penrith Panthers.
Under head coach Ivan Cleary, who had only recently returned to the club following an ill-fated stint with the Wests Tigers, Penrith saluted in 21 consecutive home matches beginning in Round 21 of 2019.
‘Sweet revenge’
The remarkable streak—which extended across four different calendar years due to pandemic disruptions—was finally halted in Round 9 of 2022 when the Panthers were defeated by Brad Arthur’s high flying Parramatta side, 22-20.
Penrith gained sweet revenge several months later however, defeating the Eels in the 2022 Grand Final to claim the second of the club’s four consecutive NRL premierships.
If you’re curious about the all-time longest winning streak in Australian first-grade rugby league history, home and away, that number stands at 19.
The Melbourne Storm equalled the record during the 2021 NRL season, matching the efforts of the all-conquering Eastern Suburbs Roosters side of 1975, coached by the legendary Jack Gibson.
