New Bulldogs five-eighth Lachlan Galvin has opened up on his relationship with former Tigers teammate Jarome Luai.
The 19-year-old responded to speculation that his connection with Luai was fractious in an interview on 100% Footy last night.
Galvin revealed the rumours were false and that while he and Luai weren't best mates, the relationship was solid enough.
"People like to think we don’t get along but we got on fine in our short time playing together," Galvin said on Monday.

"We always got on, spoke to each other all the time despite people thinking that we didn’t get along.
"I never once walked into Concord thinking stuff him for taking the reigns even if people assume that."
Galvin and Luai were a halves pairing for six games, winning three and losing three before the youngster was dropped for Tigers' Easter Monday clash against the Eels.
He was dropped after spurning a multi-year deal worth $1 million and following advice from senior players in the team.
There were Instagram posts from Luai and other Tigers players which supported the decision to drop the young star.
Due to the nature of Galvin’s release, those posts and the possible bullying allegations couldn’t be discussed during this interview.
Galvin was brought back into the side for their round eight clash against Cronulla which they ended up winning 20-18.
They won back-to-back games upon his return while his future was being decided between the Bulldogs and Eels.
He played his final game for the club in their 22-12 loss to South Sydney Rabbitohs where he was denied a late four-pointer.
Galvin has taken up a four-year deal with competition leaders Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and is set to debut in the next fortnight.
