Former Storm, Bulldogs and Titans forward Joe Stimson has joined Super League side Castleford until the end of the 2026 season.
The versatile 29-year-old heads to the UK after 114 first-grade games in the NRL.
The Tigers currently sit in 10th spot on the ladder with a 4-11 record and they'll be hoping Stimson's signing can kickstart the second half of their campaign.

“I’m delighted to get the signing of Joe over the line. He’s a hardworking middle who can play on an edge, and he also brings a huge level of NRL experience to the squad,” said Castleford football boss Chris Chester.
Stimson won't be the only former NRL player at the club, with Tex Hoy, Zac Cini and Deajarn Asi among his new teammates in West Yorkshire.
Originally from Temora, Stimson has most recently played for Brisbane Tigers, making 11 Queensland Cup appearances in 2025.
Tigers coach Danny McGuire said spoke about Stimson following his signing.
“Really looking forward to Joe getting started with us," he said.
"He’s quality player and been in some really strong environments, and I’m excited to see him bring that experience and desire to Castleford.”
