There's a concerning stat looming over the Maroons ahead of Wednesday's State of Origin clash in Perth.
Queensland have notably lost all four matches in which Harry Grant has started.
It's an unexpected streak – especially considering Grant is widely regarded as the best hooker in the NRL.
To date, the 27-year-old has made 12 appearances for his state.

Interestingly, the Maroons have won six of the eight games where Grant has come off the bench.
They've struggled for success when he wears the No. 9 jersey, though.
Queensland lost the 2021 series opener, the 2023 dead-rubber, the 2024 decider and the 2025 opener when Grant featured in the starting side.

He has been named as the starting hooker for Wednesday's crunch Game II but is unphased by the winless streak.
"Performances are different, and each game's different," Grant said.
"I think I can take a bit of experience from being on the bench and starting.
"They've all been different circumstances, different teams and different personnel.
"So I think I can't really reflect too much on that, and [focus] more on what we have here now and making sure we make this count."

Grant is set to play a key role in Perth, with utility Kurt Mann the only other player in the squad with solid experience at dummy-half.
The Storm captain featured in the opener despite only playing one first-grade match following a month-long layoff with a hamstring injury.
With some more game time in the legs since then, he will likely be in a better position to handle a physical NSW side.
"[My injury] is probably an excuse," Grant added.
"I've played enough footy over the years to know what I need to do and know what's important going into a big game like an Origin.
"I probably went away from that a little bit, and it flowed into the game.
"I'm sure everyone in the team can say that they had a few moments that they would have liked back."
