Pressure is mounting on Des Hasler after the Titans suffered a 36-20 loss to the Eels on Sunday night.
He joined the club as head coach in 2024, overseeing a 14th-place finish.
Now, 16 rounds into the current campaign, Gold Coast are dead last.
The latest defeat to Parramatta saw the 64-year-old queried about his future in the post-match press conference.

"I don't know if there's speculation (about being sacked). It's been reported," Hasler said.
"Obviously, sitting in last place is a position we don't want to be in.
"It's very tight there at the bottom [of the ladder]. Among those sides, it's pretty congested. That's why tonight's game was so important for us.
"I thought we were in it, we had a good chance.
"We can only keep trying and keep working at it."

In May, it was reported that Hasler could find himself out of a job if results don't pick up, despite being contracted until the end of 2026.
According to News Corp journalist Michael Carayannis, the veteran coach has a top eight clause in his contract.
If the Titans fail to reach the finals this season, the club would be "under no obligation" to keep Hasler.
Further, if the Gold Coast outfit are no longer a mathematical chance to make the top eight during the current campaign, he may be shown the door immediately.
Hasler dismissed the idea of a potential early exit.
"They're just whispers, mate," he said.
"It's just rumour, innuendo."

As it stands, the Titans are five points outside the top eight.
They notably have a points differential of -138 – the second-worst in the league behind the Cowboys (-140).
