Bryce Cartwright has parted ways with the Eels.
The 30-year-old has not featured for Parramatta this NRL season under new coach Jason Ryles.
Cartwright will now return to his junior club, St Marys Saints, effective immediately.
He is expected to feature in their Ron Massey Cup side before concluding his playing career.

"I’m really thankful to the Eels for the opportunity to be part of this club; it always felt like a home away from home," Cartwright said in a statement on Tuesday.
"I’m leaving with positive memories, lifelong mates and gratitude for everyone’s support, especially the passionate fans who have always shown me love.
"While I’ve loved my time at Parramatta, this decision is about making the best choice for my family and our future."

Cartwright started his first-grade career in 2014 with the Panthers.
A move to the Gold Coast followed four seasons later before he joined the Eels in 2021.
The edge forward has played a total of 185 NRL matches, scoring 35 tries.
"Bryce is a wonderful person with strong family values," Parramatta football boss Mark O’Neill said.
"He has played some of his most consistent football with the Eels, and we wish him and his family all the best as he transitions to the next chapter of his life."
