In the sheds across the way, Laurie Daley will have his men completely focused on dishing out a more disciplined performance to put the series to bed.
In the spirit of Phil Gould's iconic 'final word' tradition, New South Wales legend Greg Alexander had an inspiring message for the Blues players on Wednesday's edition of SEN 1170 Breakfast.
"90% of the game is effort. It’s toughness and being unrelenting," he said.
"What am I, as an individual, prepared to do to make sure we are holding the trophy at the end of the game?
"The rest of the 10% is magic."
Alexander served as an advisor for the Blues for six-years during Brad Fittler's stint as head coach.
"We all want to win but the mantra remains the same," he said.
"What are you prepared to do to make it happen?
"That’s the message that the New South Wales players have to run out with."
Alexander's message lands as the Maroons are two-to-one underdogs, but he knows having been in the fire, desire will reign over talent in Game III.
