Another Australian talent is headed to the NFL, with the Seattle Seahawks signing offensive tackle Luke Felix-Fualalo.
An undrafted rookie, Felix-Fualalo attended Seattle's rookie minicamp ahead of the NFL Draft, and following the team waiving veteran tight end Mitch Van Vooren, they were able to add the Aussie ahead of July's training camp.
He followed in the footsteps of current Australian offensive linemen Daniel Faalele and Laekin Vakalahi, working with Melbourne's Conquest Athletic Performance, before an impressive college career first with the University of Utah, and then the University of Hawai'i.

Standing six-foot-seven (2.03m) and weighing in at 318 pounds (140kg), Felix-Fualalo has been a dominant force on the right side of the offensive line of the Rainbow Warriors since 2023, and will now look to continue this with Seattle under head coach Mike Macdonald.
He ranked 27th out of 601 offensive tackles with an 85.2 pass-blocking grade in 2024, according to Pro Football Focus, and in the previous season he allowed just one sack in 491 pass-blocking snaps through 11 starts.
"If you were really watching him closely, and we all were, then you could see those small steps forward," Hawai'i head coach Timmy Chang told ESPN of the Australian's early time with the program.
"Then, in 2023, when we could all see this program turning a corner, when we reached five wins and won three of our last five, a big part of that was that Luke was playing like we all knew he could."
Felix-Fualalo will be the fourth Australian to enter the NFL as a rookie this year, joining a trio of punters in Jeremy Crawshaw (Denver), James Burnip (New Orleans), and Oscar Chapman (Minnesota).
His first action in the navy and green will come next month, with Seattle's training camp set to be held from July 23 to August 12.
