The 2025 NBA Las Vegas Summer League, which features all 30 teams, begins on Friday, July 11. And opening night is already primed for a star-studded showdown. Cooper Flagg, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, will take the floor for the first time as a Maverick against Bronny James and the Lakers.
Rosters consist of players with limited NBA experience, G League players and rookies. Each team will play at least five games, with only the top four teams qualifying for the single-elimination playoff.

Each team will play four scheduled games, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals. The teams that do not qualify for the playoffs will compete in an additional consolation game.
