The NBA off-season is in full swing, with the league's players all set on securing their next deals.
Plenty of Aussies will be in and around the action this year; Josh Giddey and Dyson Daniels both waiting on extensions, while veterans Patty Mills and Ben Simmons are assessing their options.
Additionally, fringe players like Jock Landale and Jack McVeigh are looking to keep their spot in the league, which has also seen an influx of rookies.

Australia has a whole host of talent waiting on their next NBA contracts.
Dante Exum - Dallas Mavericks
Exum is returning to Dallas on a one-year deal, worth $2.3 million, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.
The Aussie was limited to just 20 games last season, putting up career-best scoring numbers at 8.7 points per game to go with 2.8 assists and 1.7 rebounds on 47.8 percent shooting from the field and 43.4 percent from the 3-point line.
With Kyrie Irving sidelined for significant time due to an ACL injury, Exum provides additional ball-handling at the guard positions alongside D'Angelo Russell and Jaden Hardy.

Josh Giddey - Chicago Bulls
While Josh Giddey was expected to be one of the first dominos to fall in free agency, the Chicago Bulls are yet to re-sign the Australian point guard.
A restricted free agent, Giddey can field offers from any team, but the Bulls have the ability to match these, setting up what could potentially be a drawn-out process.
"We don't have any update on Josh Giddey," ESPN's Brian Windhorst said Wednesday.
"They're not coming to a deal anytime soon from what I understand, so we'll see how that plays out."
Giddey was reportedly seeking a five-year, US$150 million contract, but his ability to hit this number looks to be limited as teams across the league rapidly run out of cap space.
Joe Ingles - Minnesota Timberwolves
NBA veteran Joe Ingles will remain in the league for at least one more year, signing a one-year, US$3.6 million deal to remain with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Ingles spent the previous season with Minnesota, and while he only appeared in 19 games, coach Chris Finch repeatedly emphasised his impact as a veteran presence on the squad.
"He’s been everything for us in terms of maturity," Finch told reporters before the 2025 post-season.
"He’s helped all the young guys, he’s helped all the vets.
"Everyone always talks about 'You have to have vets on your team to help everybody', but the dirty little secret is, a lot of vets you may not want on your team. You know, they’re trying to hang on to their careers, they're salty, they're selfish, they're a lot of things.
"Not all vets are created the same, but with Joe, we've got an all star in that capacity, he’s selfless, direct, has the right approach and like I said he helped everybody from Rob Dillingham to Rudy."
Taran Armstrong - Golden State Warriors
Taran Armstrong has been extended a qualifying offer by the Golden State Warriors, allowing them to match any offer sheet given to the Australian by another team, which likely sees him remain in the Bay Area.

After joining the squad midway through last season on a two-way deal, Armstrong did not play any NBA minutes, but the organisation clearly like what they saw from his productive G League experience, and moved to keep him.
"Taren is a very skilled point guard," Warriors assistant coach Khalid Robinson told Sporting News Australia.
"He has great IQ, good feel, great passer. He has a good size. I think he's a guy that has the potential to help us.
"He has to continue to grow. He has areas of his game that our player development staff has worked on him with that he needs to improve upon. But I think he's definitely a player that has potential to help in the future.
"He joined us pretty late in the season, but he's a pretty easygoing guy who just goes with the flow. So he meshed well with our guys and the roster."
Luke Travers - Cleveland Cavaliers

The wing made his debut in November 2024, and made 12 total appearances for the team as they went on to record 64 wins across the season.
"He's so smart, the pass, the fake around, I love discovering players. It's just so fun, I'm like man, what could this guy be?" Cleveland head coach Kenny Atkinson said of Travers after his debut.
"He has a great feel for the game. You see with the passes he's making, as a rookie, he sees things you don't always necessarily see," added All-Star teammate Donovan Mitchell.
"He's going to be a good player. He's going to continue to figure it out and get better but it's good to see in his first opportunity, not only score but impact the game in a lot of ways."
Jack McVeigh - FA
Jack McVeigh has been waived by the Houston Rockets, following his debut season in the NBA.

On a two-way deal for a contending squad, McVeigh struggled to carve out a role on the side, and will now be available for any interested team.
"A year ago I was sitting in the NBL and I said ‘I would be happy with my career if I could score one NBA bucket’, well, I was lying," McVeigh said of his first NBA season.
"I fly out Tuesday morning and then we get back to it, Summer League, talking to teams, working out with teams."
