Manchester United are gearing up for big changes, and the goalkeeper position could be next in line for a makeover.
With Andre Onana’s future hanging in the balance after a rocky season, United are reportedly eyeing Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez and Nice’s Marcin Bulka as possible replacements.
While the club has been busy reshaping their attack — sealing a deal for Matheus Cunha and closing in on Bryan Mbeumo — it seems Old Trafford’s decision-makers haven’t forgotten the importance of keeping things solid at the back.
And after two error-filled campaigns between the posts, patience with Onana may be running thin. Reports (via Ben Jacobs) suggest United are still undecided on whether to keep Onana as the starter or to bring in a new No. 1.
But one thing is clear: they’re weighing up serious alternatives.

Man United set to replace Andre Onana?
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the club has listed both Martinez and Bulka as targets. Martinez is no stranger to Premier League fans — or penalty shootouts.
The World Cup winner could be available this summer as Aston Villa look to balance their books.
Bulka, on the other hand, offers a very different profile. At 6ft 6in, he’s a towering presence in goal and has impressed for Nice.
A move for Bulka may also be smoother to complete, given the French club is under INEOS ownership — just like Manchester United. That connection could help avoid past headaches, like last year’s failed bid for Jean-Clair Todibo.
Still, UEFA rules won’t be an issue this time around. With United missing out on European football next season, transfers between INEOS-linked clubs are back on the table.
Onana hasn’t been told to pack his bags just yet, but with interest from Saudi clubs and United exploring other options, his time could be ticking down.
