St Kilda have once again reportedly offered a player a mammoth contract offer, with West Coast Eagles star Harley Reid the latest player to be offered a huge contract by the Saints.
Reid is currently under contract at the Eagles for another year, but there are rumours about whether he will re-sign with West Coast or come back to his home state of Victoria.
Speaking on SEN Breakfast, Essendon great Tim Watson has reported that the Saints have offered Reid what would be the richest contract in AFL history.
"The information that I received [is] that the West Coast Eagles believe that there’s been an offer tabled by St Kilda around $25 million over 12 years," Watson said.

"I’m not making this up, this is what I was told yesterday, this has absolutely got everybody in the footy world spinning."
Reid is from Victoria and reportedly ruled out three teams, including the Saints, if he decided to return to Victoria, according to journalist Caroline Wilson.
A trade would be necessary for Reid if he chooses to go to another team, but he has been in talks with the Eagles to stay on at the club long term
The Saints have also offered their out-of-contract star, Nasiash Wanganeen-Milera, a contract, but he hasn't signed on with the Saints and may request a trade to his home state.
Port Adelaide and Adelaide are the options for Wanganeen-Milera if he chooses a trade back to his home state of South Australia, with each team needing to trade with the Saints for him.
St Kilda have also reportedly offered Carlton ruckman Tom De Koning a huge contract and are wanting to get Greater Western Sydney defender Leek Aleer via trade at the end of the season.
There are also reports that these contracts may prompt a mass exodus at the Saints at the end of the year, with some players rumoured to be frustrated at the huge contracts being offered.
