West Coast's prized number one pick, Harley Reid, is reportedly dealing with just one club on a new contract that could be 11 years long.
Reid has slimmed his wide range of options down and is purportedly dealing exclusively with the Eagles on a new deal, according to reporter Sam Edmunds.
The 2023 number one pick has played 39 games for the Western Australian team and was named as the AFL Players Association's best first-year player last year.
Reid has a year left on his contract, but is looking to sign a long-term deal with the club that chose him and surprisingly not with a club from his home state of Victoria.

Edmunds has reported that Reid's agent Nick Gieschen has sent the Eagles an offer that would see his client sign his future away.
"Harley – bottom line - he wants to stay at West Coast. He has actually instructed Nick Gieschen to get a deal done with the Eagles before this initial three-year deal expires at the end of 2026," Edmunds told SEN Crunch Time.
"Gieschen has put to West Coast a contract proposal that would see Reid paid more than $2 million a year for 11 years. It would be an 11-year deal in totality, and that’s what the market is saying he is worth right now.
"Nick Gieschen, by my understanding, isn’t fishing around. He is dealing exclusively with West Coast; he is looking to have that deal trumped. At the moment, it’s West Coast’s decision to make.”
Reid has been averaging 18.8 disposals and 0.7 goals per game in his second year at the highest level, which included an impressive 2-goal, 27-disposal performance against Richmond in round 19.
The Eagles are currently sitting in last position, having only won one game for the year and will take on ladder leaders Adelaide at home on Sunday.
