West Coast star Harley Reid told Jason Horne-Francis that the Port Adelaide's gun decision to leave North Melbourne was to 'go back to his Mummy'.
Reid and Horne-Francis were involved in several skirmishes through the last quarter at Adelaide Oval, as the Power overhauled the Eagles by 26 points on Sunday.
The Power matchwinner was seen gesturing to Reid after the Eagle gave away a free kick with a throw in a crucial time of the last quarter, while there was regular banter and push-and-shove between the duo throughout the match.
According to Tom Morris, Reid sparked the tension between the pair after trolling Horne-Francis about the choice to depart the Kangaroos and head back home to South Australia with the Power.

"Let’s remember, Jason Horne-Francis left North Melbourne after one year — and then Harley Reid … ‘go back to mummy, leave after one year’ to Horne-Francis. You love that sort of stuff don’t you?” Morris said on Footy Furnace.
However, Horne-Francis played down the incidents with Reid, suggesting the banter was enjoyed by all those involved.
“I think there was a bit of heat in it at the end there, which was, I guess, I like a little bit, and I know a few of their players like (it) as well,” Horne-Francis told Fox Footy.
“I think it’s all part of the game, it’s all in good spirit, but it was good to get over the line in the end.”
Horne-Francis, the 2021 no.1 draft pick, left North Melbourne after 12 months to return to his home state of SA with Port Adelaide.
Reid, the 2023 no.1 draft pick, is imminently facing a similar decision over his future - should he stay with the Eagles or return home to Victoria?
However, Reid's decision to banter with Horne-Francis about the Power's star decision suggests the West Coast midfielder could remain Perth.
